What is your experience in your field?
I have been working with adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs since 2005. My career began as a support worker and I have cared for a wide range of service users, often with very complex needs. I enjoy working in teams and I am passionate about protecting and promoting individuals’ rights and inclusion in the community. I get out of our profession when I can contribute to delivering high-quality consistent person-centred care, watching someone make progress and achieving their goals – no matter how big or small they may be.
Some people thank me for converting mistakes into lessons, pressure into productivity, skills into strengths and that I know how to bring out the best.
